The Tzouhalem Spinners and Weavers Guild was formed 50 years ago by a small group of Cowichan Valley weavers.  Eight women came together on November 22, 1973 to form the guild. They had a shared passion for weaving and spinning and wanted to create a place where others could gather to this passion. The guild now has 70+ members who weave, spin, knit, crotchet, felt and create using fibre in all it’s forms. This anniversary year will be filled with special events, study groups, public demonstrations and special posts on this page. We will add to the page as the year progresses so please check back to see what’s coming up.
