Members were wowed by the display of tea towels at the annual end of year potluck meeting. Fifteen weavers each wove a pair of tea towels inspired by a picture they had received earlier in the year. Many of the weavers reflected that the challenge had taken them out of their comfort zone to try to capture the essence of the pictures. Judging by the reactions of the recipients of the towels, all definitely met the challenge. Recipients expressed being thrilled and grateful to receive the interpretations. It was a true exchange of talent, hard work and creativity; clearly demonstrating the calibre of weaving in the Guild.
